This quick-start guide will take you through the steps to run placement testing using the oxfordenglishtesting.com learning management system (OLMS).

STEP 1: Set up groups of students who will be taking a placement test

You need to create your students in groups before they can start placement testing.

STEP 2: Assign placement tests and email/print out student log-in details

When assigning the test you have a number of options, including when the test will be available, whether students can see their results and a choice of notification options to tell you when tests have been completed.

STEP 3: View placement test results

Once your students have completed the test you can view their results in an easy to read table, download the results and email a results card to your students.

STEP 4: Move students into regular classes

If your students will be using practice tests and/or online practice you can move them into a regular class.
