STEP 2: Assigning tests and printing students' log in details

To assign tests to your students, follow the steps below. You will be able to print out students' log in details towards the end.

  1. Click the Tests tab and select Assign.

    Select Assign 
  2. Select the group you would like to assign to, then click next.

    Select your group 
  3. Select the Young Learners Placement Test from the drop-down menu in option A Assign a new test, then click next.
    Choose the test  
  4. Click next.
  5. Tick the student(s) you want to assign the test to, then click next.
  6. Change the assignment details if necessary, then click next.
  7. Show/hide explanation of assignment details:

  8. Check the summary carefully.
  9. When you are ready, click the confirm button to assign the tests.
  10. Click the download & print button to download the log in slips.

Important:
If your students have numbers instead of names on their login slips (e.g. Student 001), you will need to write their names on the slips. In this case, students' names will not appear in the results table. You will need to keep the login slips and match the numbers in the results table to the names written on the slips.
If you would like students' names to appear in the results table, you can add their names into the OLMS after they have taken the test.

Your students can now log in to take their tests. Instructions are printed on their log in slips. For troubleshooting and advice on helping your students during the test go to the helping your students take the test guide.
