What does it test?

It tests students’ language skills online and has two sections:

Language Use
– tests vocabulary, functional language and grammar.

– tests listening for detail and gist.

Both sections focus on how language is actually used and the young learners’ understanding of meaning, giving you an accurate picture of their abilities.

A positive assessment experience

Meet Ace and Chirp. Ace & Chirp

They will guide your students through the test.

Every question is bright and colourful. There are characters and friendly illustrations too so students enjoy the test, staying focussed and confident throughout.

As students go through the test, the level of the questions adapts to their answers. This means each student is tested at the right level of challenge. And since students aren’t told if they’ve got a question wrong they finish the test feeling positive.
