STEP 1: Small groups: adding students one by one

To add students one by one, you must first create an empty placement group.

To create the placement group:

  1. Click the Admin tab and select Manage placement groups.

  2. Click Create placement group and select Young learners.

  3. Give your group a name in Step 1 (e.g. Young Learners July).
  4. In Step 2, select the third option.

    Import students
  5. Click the Save button, followed by OK on the messages that appear

To add your students to the group:

  1. Click the name of the group.
  2. Click the Add student button.

  3. Enter your student's details.
  4. Show/hide how to edit your students' details:

  5. Click the save button.
  6. Repeat the steps if you have more than one student to add.

When you have created your students, you can assign your tests.
